According to the Carnegie Foundation, sales training tends to be about 85% skills and technical stuff and 15% people stuff. But without the people knowledge – there is no sale!

What’s the first thing we tend to do when we talk to someone with a heavy accent? We talk louder. Like that’s gonna work. That’s kind of like doing more of what you’ve always been doing instead of stepping back and understanding the personality type of the person you’re dealing with. Because without that, you need to work really hard to be more successful.
